In april 2018 Umeå municipality announced the open call for a metoo-monument to be placed in the central square of Umeå city. The monument was meant to become a reminder of stories of misuse of power and to ensure that the fight for equality must constantly continue. Listen!, The
Metoo-monument in Sweden, was placed at Rådhustorget (Town Hall square), in Umeå in the fall of 2019.
