PORTALS

Skumrask Collection

The line of a circle never ends, yet the circle is closed and thus whole. Owning the right size, with a riddle inside, it becomes a portal.

I see the “portals” as being their own, individual personalities, but still connected with one another. I imagine that they connect spatial entities in a kind of positive union.

The size of the circle is 112 cm in diameter, a well-balanced size so that the viewer is invited to come closer, to be embraced, but still able to maintain an overview.

Technique: Fine Art print, round, hand cast frame in jesmonite, glass.
